It seems like Blink182 break up the group because they want to enjoy the life they've build.
Basically, they have made a shitload of money and they want to spend it.

i ued to realy like blink 182...but then that had to go and sell out!! nad then they made a hell load of realy bad songs! oh well....i didnt even know they where splitting up..lol

| First i wanna say 'fuck you' to all you young kids who call themselves punks, and say that you hate blink cause they're so commercial. you dont know their history, they used to be a fucking great band, with a lot of great albums. Take off your pants and jacket might have been commercial, but was one their best works. but they should have stopped after this one, their last album kind of sucked, had some good songs on it though, just not what it used to be. So i guess im sad for what they've become, not that they broke up. |

I liked Blink too ... too bad ... good spin-offs though ... box-car racer and transplants ... Who knows .. maybe they will get bored of having families and stuff like that and get back together  Maybe they broke up because they felt they were getting too comercial and that is not what they wanted.. The problem of punk is the whole idea of screw the system ... because labels sell records .. labels are the system .... and no radio station would play the music... no exposure means no money ... Bands need money for instruments and other stuff ... So unless some rich millionaire decides to start a punk band they never get exposure .. I live in a city with less than 500 000 people and we have a great underground punk scene ... you just have to know when and where the bands are playing .. going commercial sucks but it is a neccesary evil in order to survive .. any way .. that was my little ramble ... pick it apart if you must .. but I really don't care.. |

i remember when dude ranch came out. i bought it. it sucked and gave it to my little sister. she hated it and threw it away. then they got big with whats my age again and started to be played all over the radio and tv. then all the small things and so on. ive hated them forever. even when they were nobodys. not my kind of music. i guess you need a vagina to like that shit. i unfortunately have a penis.

| All 3 of them sold out. DeLonge with AVA, Hoppus with +44 and Barker with +44 and the Transplants, who totally suck (although I kinda like Lint like in Rancid and Op Ivy). |
